Goal of Screencasting
This screen casting teaches students who are interesting in learning python and download python. After watching these videos, students should be able to write their first python project. There are two screencastings I created for teaching people how they can create their first project. Total time of these videos is 9 minutes.

First Screencasting
The first video tells people how to download python. When I watch this video, I noticed that if people use win10 computer as same as me, they might meet some problems if they try to check python version by using command. (Microsoft store will comes out if they type python in command) Therefore, the second video tells people how to avoid this and teach them to write their own first python project. The update screen casting shows how to write “HelloWorld” project step by step. People can follow these steps and watch what I do to do program.

How screencasting more effective
If I teach people program by words only, people can not pay that much attention on the words, and they might can not follow each step. Therefore, people might miss some important information. When I use screen casting to teach people how to program, people can do their own python programming by following the steps and I can also point out the important things in the video.
Things do not Update
When I learn programming, I usually watch many videos of programming on YouTube. I conclude their teaching methods and compare with lectures of EDCI337. Before I created these two videos, I will list out what will I do in the videos.
