I wonder if I put a few words here?

WEEK3 mULTIMEDIA DESIGN FOR LEARNING

Example of Signalling principle

When instructers giving lecture to students, they sometime will use power points. They often show one key point on one slide. This can make sure students have enough time to understand this knowledge. When something is very important in that slide, instructors ofter highlighted or use a differenct colour to signal that. In math, instructors will highlight or make a mark beside the important step of example question.

Example of Multimedia learning

1.Coherence principle: Apple is always good at “less is more”. This video use text which is directly to topic

2.Signalling principle: This video shows small snippets at one time

3.Redundancy principle: this video do not provide too much graphics

4.Spatial contiguity: this video does show ver well in this principle because it does not put words and photos together very well

5.Temporal contiguity: corresponding narration and video shows the same thing at the same time.

6. Segmenting: information break down into small segments

7. Pre-training: not shown in this video

8. Modality: The video maker speaks how this business will work in word form

9. Personalization: This video looks like a conversation so it is easy for people to understand

10. Voice: the real people talk in this video not a computer voice

11. Embodiment: not shown in this video because nobody appear in this video

12. Image: no an added distraction from text and image
